  • isolation room

About our Financial Policy

The Pet Emergency Center accepts most payment options including cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover. We do not accept Amex or Diners Club Card. We also accept payments through Care Credit. Accounts must be finalised on discharge of your pet. We request a deposit be paid prior to admission for all hospitalized patients.

About Hospitalization

All hospitalized patients are monitored continuously throughout their stay. There are doctors and trained personnel on duty at all times. Your companion stays in a comfortable, clean cage visible to all of our staff. We discourage toys and blankets from home, as with the high amount of traffic it is difficult to guarantee that they will return home.

About Discharge

Most hospitalized patients will need to be picked up by 8:00am on the following morning for discharge or transfer to your primary care veterinarian (except Sunday mornings and some holiday mornings). 100 percent of our time and skills will be devoted emergency treatment and critical care. For that reason we will refer all patients to their family veterinary clinic after their need for emergency or critical care has passed.
